ORIGIN AND PROPERTIES OF THE INGREDIENTS:
BOVINE GALL is a traditional stain remover. Its principal active ingredients, the gallic acids cholic acid and taurocholic acid, are capable of finely dispersing fats and fatlike substances, in addition to dissolving colourants and forming compounds with them.
SOAP, manufactured from rape seed oil and olive oil with lye, swells and dissolves the dirt and support the stain removing power of the bovine gall.SUGAR SURFACTANT is obtained from pure plant-based raw materials – sugar, starch and coconut oil – by chemical conversions with the aid of acids.
ORANGE TERPENES from orange peel additionally intensify the fat-dissolving power of SONETT gall soap.
SPECIAL PRODUCT FEATURES:
The olive oil and rapeseed oil used in the soap are derived from 100%
certified organic cultivation.

ECOLOGY:
BIODEGRADABILITY:
BOVINE GALL, as a pure natural product, is completely 100% biodegradable. SOAP made from vegetable oils has the outstanding feature of combining, immediately after use, with the calcium always present in the waste water to form calcium soap. Thus, within a few hours, the surfactant effect, harmful to aquatic organisms, is neutralized (
PRIMARY DEGRADATION). The calcium soap is then 100% degraded by microorganisms to carbon dioxide and water (
secondary degradation). In the manufacturing process of SUGAR SURFACTANTS constituents are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100 % decompose these surfactants.
SOAP and SUGAR SURFACTANTS are classified as
readily biodegradable according to OECD guidelines.
